CeMAP Revision Workshops

The concept of a one day revision course goes back to 1993 when my sales team of 250 mortgage and protection sellers needed one day in a classroom to consolidate their own learning before taking the exam a few days’ later.

I’ve been running similar one day fast paced revision events for a variety of exams since that date most notably for the CeMAP exam.

Revision is different to studying. When you’re studying you’re learning new information but when you’re revising, you’re’ making sure you know everything correctly, you’re brushing up on some uncertainties and you’re constantly testing yourself with quizzes and tests.

And that’s where our one-day CeMAP revision courses come in.

Format of the One Day Revision

At the beginning of the day, we ask everyone what topics and areas from the book they’re struggling with and we then build th day around those and areas we know people struggle with.
We answer all your questions continuously.
We throw short multi choice questions at you.
We do lots of calculation examples
We talk about revision techniques and make sure you know how the exam works
We make sure you’re ready for the actual exam
We give you confidence to take the paper.

There’s no set agenda since you make up the days’ content and since we have a maximum of 6 people only, you get to add the areas you want to the schedule.

You’ll get a bound copy of our legendary CeMAP Revision Guide which is ideal for last minute revision, explaining things in a better way that the textbook and free access to our online question banks which you can access when you get home, just before yoiur exam.

Who's Leading the Workshops?

Paul Archer will lead each workshop. Paul has been in the mortgage business since 1983, has sold mortgages and protection successfully, looked after mortgage sales teams and run the training for large sales forces so he knows the subject and how to bring it to life. More importantly he has been running CeMAP training events since the exam began in 1999.

Where are They Being Run?

The courses will be run in our purpose built boardroom here in Gloucestershire, just 10 minutes from Junction 11 of the M5, with plenty of good priced B&Bs and hotels nearby if you want a fresh start to your day. 10 minutes from Gloucester Rail Station.
